Steelmatic is a remix/mash-up project featuring Nas's 2001 classic album "Stillmatic" exclusively flipped over Steely Dan samples. To many, Stillmatic marked the return of Nas as a force to be reckoned with in Hip Hop and its lyrics have been revered by many critics for its socio-political commentary. With this in mind, Manz has created a unique project showcasing the eclectic Rock, Jazz, and Soul based musical stylings of Steely Dan to pay tribute to Nas, one of the greatest emcees to ever bless a mic.
